Music therapy for the in-between spaces

Support in navigating the liminal moments of life through:

+ Your personal connection to music

+ Therapeutic rapport with a trained Board Certified Music Therapist

Why music therapy?

Every individual has a distinct and unique relationship with music, steeped in their personal history, experiences, and preferences. Along with a supportive body of research , this makes music therapy a particularly powerful healing tool in navigating transitions.

As trained and board certified clinicians, Music Therapists work with clients to access the internal and external resources within and around them, building therapeutic rapport to meet goals, address pain, connect with loved ones, and support their whole person (mind, body, spirit).

Music is the medium, but sessions are individualized and specific to client needs and preferences, and can look many different ways.

Meet Ellie

Owner, MT-BC

After over 10+ years in the field of music therapy, I opened Liminal Music Therapy LLC in my hometown of Klamath Falls, Oregon, with an underlying belief that music is for the threshold; the liminal spaces of life. Be it birth, death, the moment before we jump into a new phase, a new version of ourselves, a new skill, or just a new breath — all of these require us to pass through a state of liminality. They offer us simultaneous permission to let go, and to reach for what is next. This can be scary, exhilarating, and everything between.

I believe music therapy, and music, is one of the most intrinsically ideal tools to support movement thru these liminal phases. Offering stability, flexibility, play, grounding, and integration.

It is my hope and privilege, through a warm, safe therapeutic relationship, to accompany you and the music thru to whatever is next.
